Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cost to participating organizations?
There is no cost.
What is the scope of the study?
This is an international research project that will encompass hundreds of organizations. Depending on the number of respondents, it may be the largest study on intrapreneurship and employee engagement to date.
If our organization participates, what is the risk of sensitive information about us being made public?
Our Non-Disclosure Agreement protects information about your organization. No mention of your organization will be made in connection with this study without your consent.
What is the process for participation?
After executing the NDA, you will be sent a link to the survey that you will forward to your employees via email. Within two weeks of the closing of your survey administration, you will receive a debrief report. In early 2014, you will receive the comprehensive general report from the study, including data from all participants (see Process for more).
How long does it take for an individual to respond to the survey?
For most people it takes between 10 and 12 minutes.
When will the results be published?
General results will be published in the first half of 2014. However, each participating organization will receive their specific results within two weeks after their survey administration is closed.
Which industries can participate?
The study was designed for all industries and sectors, including for-profit, non-profit and governmental agencies.
Are there demographic questions so we can cut the data for our organization specifically (i.e., by location or function)?
Yes, the survey includes three demographic questions: education level, tenure, and position in the org chart.
When will the research window be closed?
Organizations may participate in the survey at any time of the year, but round one of the research will close at the end of Q1 or beginning of Q2, 2014. All organizations that miss this window may participate in the survey and will receive a specific debrief report, but they will not receive general data to compare against their own scores until the next general report is published in 2015.
What response rate is required for us to be included in the study and receive our report?
The minimum response rate for each participating organization is 30%.
